At the Mille Lacs County Fair the show goes on even with inclement weather. Occasionally, changes need to be made.

The Mille Lacs County Fair works in conjunction with law enforcement and local fire departments during the Fair to watch for severe weather. If such weather is approaching, an announcement will be made to clear the grounds and seek shelter. The grounds has limited shelter for severe weather and for that reason the grounds are cleared. When an all-clear is given, the Fair is reopened.

Grandstand events may be canceled, postponed, or rescheduled due to unsafe weather or poor track conditions. A decision to cancel an event will be made no later than two hours prior to the event.

Cancellations will be posted to Facebook and the Fair website.
