Animals At The Fair

Animal Barns:

FFA and 4-H members have on exhibit a variety of large and small animals including Beef Cattle, Dairy Cattle, Dairy Goats, Meat Goats, Poultry, Rabbits, Sheep, Swine, possibly Llamas and sometimes other animals.

Sunday           9:00 am – 1:00 pm (animals release to go home at 1 pm)

Open Class Livestock Shows:

Entry Fee: $2.00 per animal/per lot except for novice class
1. All livestock will be brought in through the South gate and on the
grounds except in designated parking areas.
2. All animals must have a permanent form of identification. (Ear
tag, tattoo, brand, etc.)
3. Purebred livestock must present registration papers verifying
registration.
4. All exhibitors to furnish their own hay, grain and straw. (INITIAL
BEDDING ONLY will be provided.
5. Animals to be brought in for the day of show only. Open Class
exhibitors cannot remove open class animals until show is
ended and checks are handed out.
6. Open stalling will be available in livestock barns. Request space
from superintendent in your designated livestock area in the fair
office.
7. Farm names may be used for advertising but NO “For Sale”
signs in exhibit area.
8. The Mille Lacs County Agricultural Society is not responsible for
accidents, injuries, etc. They will also not be held responsible for
any animal disease transmitted.

Beef Cattle

Show starts at 11 am

DIVISION 14 - OPEN CLASS BEEF
Trophies will be given for Grand Champions and novice class.
Ribbons will be given to champion female and champion male.
Trophy will be given for overall grand champion beef. Pre-registration
is not necessary. $2.00 entry fee per animal/lot except
novice class. Novice class must register although there is no fee
for registering.
