Demolition Derby Rules
Pro-Mod Truck Class
1. This is a modified / weld class,
build your truck accordingly!
2. These are not suggestions. This is what is required and what is allowed
as far as preparation of the trucks. DO NOT try to read anything more into
these rules or it will cause you to have problems in the tech line.
3. Open to all 1/2, 3/4 and 1 ton trucks & suburban type vehicles. All
wheel or 4x4’s are allowed but must remove either the front or the rear
driveshaft.
4. Fuel Cells will be mounted securely (this means steel & bolts not
ratchet straps and plumbers tape) in the bed of the truck, In
the center of the box directly behind the cab. The fuel Cell must be
securely fastened to the floor and either have a small cage built around it or
have a 4 sided 12ga. min. box placed around for protection of the fuel
cell. In addition to this you must have a rubber mat (floor mat) covering
the top of the fuel cell. Fuel lines must be either steel or copper, you may use a small piece of rubber fuel line to
make connections but must be double clamped on both sides.

6. Tranny coolers may be mounted in the Pass. Side of the cab or in the box next to the Fuel Cell. Either
way they must be covered as to protect the driver. Tranny
lines MUST either be ALL Steel or ALL Hydraulic.
7. Bumpers may be changed to automotive type bumpers and brackets or 1 piece of
6” max channel iron or equivalent iron as long as you put a bumper skin over
it. You can fab your own brackets but they must
not be any longer or thicker than stock brackets.
8. Under the hood bracing and kickers are allowed. NO bracing or
reinforcing on the outside of the truck, this includes no braces on the
front of the truck. ( Ex. - No bars from the hood to
the bumper) Only under or behind the sheet metal.
9. Doors and Tailgate must be welded shut! You may add 1 piece of angle
iron across the top of the tailgate and 1 at the bottom.
10. Dash, Seat and Door bars are REQUIRED. They must be welded securely to
keep the driver protected. No size restriction on bars. Use heavy
material such as channel iron or tube steel. Bars may be bolted or welded
to the frame and or body.
11. Box and cab may be bolted together and /or welded. Box may also be
bolted to the frame in as many places as you wish. Besides this there will
be NO other reinforcement allowed in the box area!
12. Rollbars are allowed but kickers cannot extend
more than 24” past the rear of the cab and must not extend further forward than
the firewall.
13. Frame reinforcement is allowed
14. Any item deemed UNSAFE will be corrected or you will
not run.
